PERFUMES AGAINST ANIMAL ATTACKS

BENIGN is a perfume range designed to be worn by people and smelled by animals to stop animal attacks. By blending keratin from an animal's hair with the pheromones from the babies, a perfume was created that will make animals believe that the wearer is part of the pack and not attack them.

THE PROBLEM

All animals, even domesticated ones, run the risk of attacking people. One of the main factors is the person's smell being unfamiliar.

THE SOLUTION

To recreate the animal's smell and package it as a perfume that the handler can wear.

THE METHOD

This will be done by blending the keratin from the animal's hair and the pheromones of the breed's babies.

These perfumes can be chosen and bought on the WWF and PETA websites. Users will have to prove that they are not poachers, though.

I came up with a few other products that would make people's lives more enjoyable but simply could not get the thought of preventing animal attacks out of my head!

PRODUCT CHOICE

I eventually decided on creating the perfume, believing it would be more plausible to produce than some of the other products.

DESIGN STEP 1 – FINDING THE ANIMAL

As mentioned before, all animals are capable of hurting humans and other animals when startled, but when it came to the design of the packaging, I wanted to create something using animal patterns.

I just needed to find the right ones.

DESIGN STEP 2 – OVERLAP IT

After I found the animal patterns I needed, it was time to play.

Each of the packaging designs you see was created by taking rel animal patterns and playing with its colors, and overlapping the options I found.
